It is the end of summer. Catherine is an actress. Recently, she has no longer been able to recognize the faces of those close to her—except for that of Samuel, her 8-year-old grandson. Together, they share the secret of these absences and keep a notebook of faces. Until they encounter a man whose face Samuel’s memory is too young to have recorded.
